Exercise 175. Respond to the following, asking for advice. Use hadn’t… better + infinitive.

Exercise 176. Disagree with the suggestion or decline the invitation. State what you prefer doing, using would rather + infinitive.

Exercise 177. Rewrite the second sentence in each conversation, starting with I’d rather we/you/etc.

Exercise 180. Respond to the following statements. Express a suggestion beginning with “Why not + infinitive”.

Exercise 181. Respond to the statement given below using had better (‘d better), would rather/sooner (‘d rather/sooner). Add a sentence with “Why not…? + a bare infinitive.
