INDICATION OF SOIL HUMIDIFICATION IN SMALL-LEAVED PLANTATIONS BASED ON SPECIES COMPOSITION OF GRASS AND SUFFRUTICOUS LAYER

Abstract. The article deals with the research of grass and suffruticous layer in highly productive birch and aspen plantations of Leningradskaia oblast which are affected by temporary redundant humidification during spring-and-fall period. The plants-indicators do not allow assessing soil humidification rate. The other criteria for temporary soil humidification assessment are needed.

Key words: soil conditions, formation, plantation, plant-indicators, grass and suffruticous layer.

SIGNIFICANCE OF MAIN AND PRE-SOWING TILLAGE ON MALTING BARLEY OBTAINING IN PREDURALIE

Abstract. Barley is a valuable food, technical and forage crop. The barley grain goes to cereals production and also it is good forage crop. Barley is widespread in brewing because barley grain consists of much starch (63-65%) and little protein (9-12%) and its endosperm is floury. The sowing area under spring barley was 58 thousands of ha in 2012 and average yield capacity was 15.3 centner/ha based on data of Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Permskii Krai. The analysis of traditional for Preduralie tillage with plough equipped with colters and tillage with turnwrest plough for cultivation of malting barley on furrow of meadow clover is given in the paper. The data on yield capacity, malting barley quality, agrophysical properties of soil, infestation of sowings are presented in the work.
