Note: The use of shall instead of will is now quite rare, except to form questions,when shall is required in the first person singular and plural.

Note: We often use Vm going to or Present Continuous Tense forms to talk about the future. For example, we say that something is going to happen. This is usual when we talk about plans, decisions and intentions.

e.g. I’m going to spend Christmas in Coventry. I’m spending Christmas in Coventry.

Exercise 3. Role-play in pairs
