What is a brand? Why do brands matter?

Brands become very important nowadays. They can symbolize and describe products or even companies. If people know the brand, they will know the product. So if brand manufacturer wants to sell a lot of brand products, brand should be attractive and recognizable.

But why people buy brands and why do they need to them? Firstly, some people think that branded product is a guarantee of quality and reliability. But to be honest, I think some people also buy brands because they want to impress people. They want to show that they have style and good taste. On the other hand, people don’t buy brands. They hate all the advertising hype around brands and they don’t know to impress people with lots of logos. They say that if you buy a suit from a famous brand you’ll see five people with the same suit that month. These people are afraid to buy illegal copy, because they want value for money. They don’t want to pay inflated prices for a name, fancy logo and packing. Secondly, people say, that brands are all about trust. You know what a brand is about, what it means, what is going to deliver and you actually trust it to deliver time and time again. For example, if you want to drink Coca-Cola, it will be taste exactly the same wherever you are in the world. Brands also add a lot of colour, enjoyment and fun, as well as giving people the power to choose things. Finally, brands can inspire fierce loyalty. They are much more than just a product or a service – they are an attitude, and that’s carried through in everything about the brand – from the communications to the culture of organization, to everything you see about the brand.

In conclusion, I want to note that brands become passion and movement for people nowadays and people always need for brands’ products and services.
