Module 1 Personality

Our world is populated by a large number of people with different characters and personality traits. Someone might be assertive and determined, and someone moody and sensitive and all this characterizes people as individuals. So there are many theories of personality, the first step is to understand exactly what is meant by the term personality. A brief definition would be that personality is made up of the characteristic patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that make a person unique. There are different methods that can be used to find out what personality type one belongs to. Some of them such as horoscopes and handwriting analysis are controversial and even misleading. The others, for example, personality tests and interviews are more useful and can provide accurate information about a person’s character.

Module 2 Travel

Travel is something which people do every day. It is very difficult to avoid the need to travel. It may be a trip to school, university or to work. Travelling can often take a long time, especially when great distances need to be covered. People often enjoy travelling abroad for holidays. But for some people travelling is not fun at all. Some people suffer from travel sickness. Travelling can be either affordable or costly. It often depends on how far you want to travel and the choice of transport. Summing up, we can say that travel is amazing and everyone has a choice to travel or not and how.

Module 3 Work

People spend most of their lives at work. But what does the word work mean for each of them? Some people work for their love of the work, others work for personal and professional fulfillment. Other people like to accomplish goals and feel as if they are contributing to something larger than themselves, something important. Whatever your personal reasons, the bottom line, however, it that almost everyone works for money. You can call it different: compensation, salary, bonuses, and eventually, retirement. Summarising, it can be said that that employers need to start asking their employees what they want from work whether they are getting it. And at the end I want to say that if people work together they will achieve awesome business success.

Module 4 Language

On our planet there are many camps whose inhabitants speak different languages. Each country has its own native language, but there are also bilingual countries that have two state languages.

Every tourist coming to a particular country encounters a foreign language. To understand someone else's speech, people take up foreign languages. Learn the appropriate language, grammar, correct pronunciation to eliminate accent. People who study quickly can soon keep up with residents of other countries.

There is also a profession of translator, this is a rather money spinner. They are most often required at important conferences and business meetings of representatives of two different countries. At such events, people speak a formal language without using slang and informal speech. Representatives of such a profession always look like a million dollars and are well-off. With knowledge of foreign languages, it is easy to become successful in business and politics.

Module 5 Advertising

Advertising surrounds us everywhere. We see her at home, in shopping centers, on the street, in public transport. Advertising allows a person to learn about a product or organization. In other words, advertising is an informational message that attracts the attention of a person in order to sell him any products or services.

Advertising should be attention-grabbing, catchy or even intrusive. The most effective way to advertise your products is to show it on

television. Commercial advertising covers a huge mass of people. Such advertising captures our attention with bright visual effects, which are supplemented by a simple and memorable song. This method affects human consciousness, causes certain emotions and desires.

Advertising is a powerful weapon that can control, manipulate and even change human consciousness.

Module 6 Education

Education is an important part of modern life. Being educated means to know a lot of necessary and useful things for life. Human progress mainly depends on welleducated people. They say that those who have information, rule the world. When we were 6 or 7 years old we are sent to schools to get useful knowledge about world, although that isn’t the main purpose of the education. The most important thing is learning how to learn in order to use this ability in our future life. However some people think that the current system of education isn’t able to teach pupils how to become good thinkers and schools are only about passing exams. Throughout their lives, people learn and cognize new for themselves. The areas and subjects of study can be very different: from alphabet to quantum physics. The further a person goes in studying, the more information he absorbs.

Module 7 Design

What is design? Design is a collection of actions of a person or group of people to design various products. Also called the result of the process

of manufacturing objects or objects. Designers in the process of developing the project not only strive to create the most attention-grabbing invenntion, but also a usable device. Design plays a huge role in the modern world, especially

in industrial production.Wherever you look, you will be surrounded by all kinds of graphics, charts, commercials, logos, banners, and other images. Be it a website, a billboard, a magazine, a comic book, a package-all the images are created by graphics designers and nowadays with the use of special software programs.

Module 8 Business

Opening your own business is not a simple matter, but many people are trying to take risks. Few people manage to develop their business from scratch and not become bankrupt, since you need to work hard and long. Not everyone is ready to wait, many want here and now.

Today every full age person may create a venture if he or she has all the necessary documents (primarily, the license) and start-up capital. At the beginning of your journey, you need to correctly define the sphere and make a business plan. On the market, a private enterprise should participate in the competitive struggle in order to survive and realize its goals. A businessman develops his company hiring managers and employees, choosing partners, and attracting clients

through advertisement.

Almost all the spheres of our life depend on it. Besides, a business can fully characterize its owner: the ideal of a strong, independent, initiative person who effectively uses his or her time and opportunities was born in the business

environment. For this reason, a great number of young people dream of launching their own venture.

When you hear the word engineer, do you think of someone who is male? boring? or dirty? Or all three? There are many various types and subtypes of engineering.

But I will talk to you about my profile engineering direction,electrical engineering. Electrical engineers design the electrical systems of automobiles and aircraft. They are also responsible for designing electronic equipment, including broadcast and communications systems, such as portable music players and GPS devices. Many also work in areas closely related to computer hardware.

Module 10 Trends

A trend is a temporary direction towards the perfection of any area or specific object. This term is most often found in the field of fashion. Fashion is a whole process that has a large number of stages from the moment it is created to its dies out.At first, the designer comes up with a new style of clothing. Next is the process of implementing the idea. After, it is necessary to distribute the resulting product to people. For this purpose, the trendsetter organizes a fashion show. If the product turned out to be quite original, convenient and high-quality, then it will become "viral". Thus, a process called "word of mouth radio" will start. Of course, fashion will not last forever, because fashion has a fickle character.

People live in a society where there are certain laws and rules. For example, illegal behavior is considered: vandalise, blackmail, rob, kidnapping for ransom and much more. The police are responsible for the observance of the rules within the society. The tasks of law enforcement officers include catching and arresting a criminal or a whole gang.

Punishment depends on the gravity of the crime and the damage caused. If the damage is small, then the penalty may be a fine. But if the crime entailed huge damage, then the punishment will be imposed in court. Damage can be material, physical, mental. The amount of damage is estimated as a percentage, which is also determined within society.

Unfortunately, there are many factors that influence human behavior and force people to commit crimes. Poverty, greed, injustice. To eradicate crime, the problems listed must be addressed. Only then will we live in safety and well-being.
